A Reading Room is a combination bookstore, library, and study room,

where the public has free access to books and periodicals published or sold

by The Christian Science Publishing Society, including the Pulitzer Prize-winning

newspaper, The Christian Science Monitor, and all of the writings

of Mary Baker Eddy, including Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.

A Reading Room also maintains a wide selection of Bibles and

Bible study books. It is staffed by members of the church who can

help those interested in learning more about the Bible and Christian Science.

All are welcome to use the Reading Room.

In these places anyone can visit, chat, learn, log on, share, browse—and, of course, buy the Bible and Mary Baker Eddy's writings,

including Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, as well as the literature published by The Christian Science Publishing Society.

These days Reading Rooms are doing a lot of exciting new things to meet the needs of the communities they serve.

Interested in visiting or volunteering at the Jointly Maintained Christian Science Reading Room during the Grand Performances?

We will be open for extended hours before and during some of the Grand Performances - typically from 6 pm to 9 pm.
